Recently, Hidetaka Miyazaki , head of FromSoftware Studio, said in his new interview with Eurogamer about Bloodborne: "This game is a work that is as dear to us as the fans. It makes me very happy to see that so many people are still interested in it."
He also said about the possibility of making a remake of Bloodborne, like the remake of Demon's Souls by Bluepoint Games studio: " I think using new hardware is definitely a big advantage for these remakes ." Even some time ago, a reliable news source announced that this work was at one point in the works for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. According to internal documents obtained from hacking studio Insomniac Games, Bloodborne has sold nearly 7.5 million copies by the end of fiscal year 2020.
Currently, FromSoftware Studio is working on the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion pack for the Elden Ring game, which will be released on June 21, 2024 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X platforms. Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC will be released.
