Square Enix announced two expansion packs for Final Fantasy 16 in December 2023, the first one called Echoes of the Fallen was available to users from the same day and very quietly, and the second DLC called The Rising Tide is scheduled for release in spring 2024. . In fact, Square Enix announced that the exclusive panel of Final Fantasy 16 will be present at the PAX East event, which will be held on March 22. Producer Naoki Yoshida, DLC director Takeo Kojiraoka, and Michael Christopher Koji Fox, head of the game's content localization team, will explain the new DLC for the game at the event.
