The Elden Ring expansion pack inherits a Sekiro feature

A new level-up item has been confirmed in the Elden Ring expansion pack, similar to Sekiro's Attack Power.
Elden Ring's long-awaited Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will arrive in summer 2024, bringing a new world called Land of Shadow, new enemies, and more than 10 bosses. This DLC won't affect the base game, but you'll need to experience a fairly significant amount of Elden Ring to access it.
Regardless of what level you enter Shadow of the Erdtree with, this expansion pack includes a new leveling item. Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently said in an interview with Famitsu Media: “If you imagine something like Attack Power in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, you will have a better understanding of it; "It's something like an attack intensity independent of the current levels that will only be effective in the annexed closed area."
Attack Power increases by defeating bosses and presenting them to the Sculptor's Idol. This affects how much damage Vitality and Posture deal and is independent of skill points gained or abilities released.
Why is this implemented in this expansion pack despite the Elden Ring's weapon leveling and upgrade mechanics ? Hidetaka Miyazaki cites the reason for this decision as giving the player more freedom of action when facing certain challenges: “[The player says] this boss is too powerful; So I will go to other areas and challenge it again after I get stronger." Those looking for a more challenging experience will also appreciate this one.
Shadow of the Earthtree expansion pack on June 21, 2024 for $40 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | Xbox Series S and PC will be released.
