The excellent sale of Control game continues
Remedy Entertainment has announced that its third-person shooter Control has set a new sales record.
Remedy Entertainment announced that Alan Wake 2 was the fastest-selling game of this studio with sales of 1.3 million. While the critically acclaimed survival horror game has seen impressive sales, 2019's Control is still going strong and has now set a new sales record.
Along with the sales statistics of Alan Wake 2, Remedy Studio announced that the control game has sold more than 4 million copies on all platforms since its release. The developer announced in March 2023 that the third-person shooter had sold 3 million copies; Therefore, it continues to sell at a good speed.
Remedy Studios is currently working on a co-op spin-off of Control, apparently being developed under the codename Condor. A recent trademark filing by Remedy suggests that the game will probably be called FBC: Firebreak.
Studio Remedy confirmed in October 2023 that Condor had entered the "production ready" stage. This studio announced in November 2022 that the work of developing the game Control 2 for the Xbox Series X platforms Xbox Series S , Playstation 5 and PC have started. This sequel is currently in the "idea feasibility test" phase.
