Assassin's Creed Red will have new animation and parkour
Ubisoft uses an upgraded engine to develop Assassin's Creed Red.
Although Ubisoft has not yet announced many details of the Assassin's Creed Red game, including the main name, some reports point to interesting details. Gaming Insider's Tom Henderson shared a new report on the upcoming Assassin's Creed game, explaining that Codename Red's project is taking a new phase of the development path for the series thanks to the upgraded features of the Anvil engine.
This enhanced engine allows all Assassin's Creed series development studios to benefit from a single, unified production branch. Also, this engine provides new features such as global lighting tracking and virtual geometry for the development of future games of the series. In the continuation of his report, Henderson claimed that one of the most key elements of the gameplay in Assassin's Creed Red is related to the construction and expansion of the base.
The feature is described as a "major evolution of the base building system in Assassin's Creed Valhalla" and allows players to build hideouts and expand their hideouts. Also, the player will be able to build all kinds of workshops and buildings at the desired point and personalize the interior and exterior of it.
It seems that thanks to the use of the upgraded engine, the Assassin's Creed Red development team has had to revise many of the main components of the game, including animations and parkour, and implement a new system of dynamic day and night cycles. Henderson went on to note that Assassin's Creed Red's combat system is based on the mechanics of Valhalla, but players can expect more violence, including beheadings.
According to previous reports, the story of Assassin's Creed Red is set in feudal Japan and is about the adventures of two heroes, a shinobi and a controllable samurai. Inspired by the Hitman and Splinter Cell series, this game focuses more on stealth and is going to be launched along with the Assassin's Creed Infinity hub system and live service for the series.
