Control multiplayer probably has a different camera angle

The new job ad of Remedi company refers to the new camera angle of the sub-version and co-op of the Control series.
Remedy Entertainment recently achieved great success with the release of the horror game Alan Wake 2. The sequel has sold more than 1.3 million as of the latest official statistics, and its success allowed Remedy to invest more in other projects, including the sequel and spin-off Control. The spin-off version of Control is described as a co-op and live service game, and is being developed under the code name Condor.
Now Remedy has posted a new job ad looking to hire a Senior Gameplay Animator for the Condor project. The interesting point in the description of this job advertisement is related to the focus of the upcoming game on first-person gameplay. Also, in the text of this ad, there is no mention of the features and the third-person perspective, which indicates that the Control spin-off will probably be a first-person shooter, unlike the original game.

Considering that the first-person shooter style is very popular among online players, it seems logical to choose it for a live service and co-op game. Remedy previously worked on CrossfireX's single-player campaign, which offered a first-person shooter experience powered by the Northlight engine; Therefore, choosing a first-person perspective for the Condor project can be a new solution to attract new audiences.
Remedy is currently working on several third-person shooter projects, and choosing a different perspective for the Condor project gives the development team the opportunity to express their narrative perspective and creativity in new and unique ways. It is also possible that Project Condor will offer a combination of first-person and third-person gameplay.
Although this feature can be challenging for many developers, Remedi has repeatedly shown that it is not afraid to create new and creative experiences. Although the company failed to shine in the development of CrossfireX's story campaign, the Condor project could provide a new way for Remedi to make a strong comeback.
