Helldivers 2 players will soon be controlling war robots
Reports point to the possibility of controllable fighting robots being added to Helldivers 2 in the near future.
Before the release of the multiplayer shooter Helldivers 2, Arrowhead Game Studio promised players that controllable combat robots would be added to the game in the form of a free post-launch update, and now it seems that the time to fulfill this promise is close. Last week, dataminers revealed new details about Helldivers 2, claiming that the development team is planning to bring controllable battle robots to the game and introduce the Illuminate faction from the first game in a new way.
Now on Reddit, players have shared footage of Helldivers 2 gameplay that shows how to control the battle robots on the battlefield. Considering that players are excited to see this feature, it is likely that Arrowhead Studios will make it available to players soon. In addition, one of the developers recently explained on the official Dixword game account that the combat mechanism with the help of war robots has been implemented very well and several members of the development team are testing it. However, it seems that the developer studio needed more time to optimize and smooth the gameplay of the robots.
Helldivers 2 fans can expect new content including warrior bots, factions, enemies, missions, biomes, and story updates. Although the servers of the game have faced many problems due to the reception beyond the expectations of the players, but the studio Arrowhead has promised to speed up its plans to develop and release new content and better support for the game. Helldivers 2 game is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
