The developer of NBA Playgrounds is planning to separate from Ambrisser?

Apparently, Saber Interactive  will separate from Embracer Group in a $500 million deal.
Along with the layoffs and closure of the Embracer Group studios, it seems that Cyber Interactive, one of the company's biggest developers, will also be separated from them. Jason Schreier of Bloomberg Media has reported that a private group of investors plans to buy this developer by paying $500 million.
Despite independence, Saber Interactive will continue to remake Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. This role-playing game was introduced in 2021 and was undergoing development at Aspyr Studio; However, the task of producing the game was entrusted to Cyber Interactive after some problems. In the past, there were reports about the cancellation of this project, but these rumors were soon denied.
Also, this possibility has been provided for Cyber Interactive to bring other subcategories of Embriser company with it. Jason  Schreier wrote in another tweet that he is not sure about the release of the KOTOR remake; But this game is still under development. We have to see what decision Disney, the owner of the Star Wars series, and PlayStation, the exclusive rights holder of the console version of the game, will make in this regard.
Recently, there have been news of layoffs at PlayStation and Electronic Arts, the closure of London PlayStation Studio and Ridgeline Games Studio, and the cancellation of projects such as the live-service game Twisted Metal and a first-person shooter from the Star Wars series. Also, apparently, the gearbox is another developer that will be separated from the Embracer.
